Hf. title & text printed in red and black, port. frontis & fine full page plts. a.e.g. in full profusely gilt block crimson mor. binding, with I.H.S. in centre of both covers, brass locks. Healy appointed co-adjutor Bishop of Clonfert in 1884. He also that same year critised J.H. Newman for suggesting that the Bible, while accurate on matters pertaining to faith, might contain minor factual inaccuracies. He was later appointed in 1903, to be Archbishop of Tuam, where he died in 1918. (1)
