A very good 18th Century South German walnut and marquetry two door Cupboard or Wardrobe, with partially ebonised dentil moulded cornice above a frieze inlaid with portrait roundels, basket of flowers and strings of beads, each door with three cushion panels all inlaid with shoulder portraits or full length classical figures, the pilasters headed with carved masks and fruit swags and lower sections with marquetry inlay, each gable also inlaid with figures, raised on moulded legs, 221cms x 173cms (87'' x 68''). Provenance is from a Private Collection in County Kildare.
Wardrobe has wear, marks and stains.

Lining has marks and tears.
