A very good Victorian Naval Officer's 1827 pattern Sword, with double fuller single edged blade 31 1/2" (80cms), gilt hilt 6" (15cms), with lion head pommel and shagreen grip, lion fur back strap and lock action folding side guard; the blade signed E. Walton, High St., Gosport, in leather bound scabbard, also signed on the throat locket, lacking chape and shoe. (1)
