A pair of fine quality Georgian style mahogany and satinwood bow fronted Commodes, attributed to James Hicks, Dublin, the shaped tops with demi-lune inlay, depicting a butterfly with floral crossbanded border over a frieze decorated in the Adams taste, the centre section with glazed doors, and with green pleated fabric interior, flanked either side with musical and floral bouquets, on square tapering legs and with moulded ormolu mounts, each approx. 130cms wide x 89cms high x 54cms deep (51" x 35" x 21").
