The Impressive Hand-Coloured Curragh Chase Copy
Atlas: Co. Limerick: The original Ordnance Survey Atlas of the Co. Limerick, Large Atlas folio Dublin 1843-1844. First Edn., Together with hd.-coloured 'Index Map', original engraved sheet, 'Reference to the Estate of Sir Aubrey de Vere, Bart. Situate in the County of Limerick,' & 60 dble page hand coloured maps, a.e.g., in original full calf, profusely blind tooled, with large gilt fillet, and with gilt lettered name and coat of arms, similar spine, professionally rebacked. An extremely fine copy, considering its vulnerability because of size.
This copy was on loan deposit from the family, and was inadvertently stamped by 'City of Limerick Public Library'.
