A Triptych composed of leather over wooden boards. Each panel is decorated with:

* National Emblems: shamrocks for Ireland (at top and bottom), white and red roses for England, thistles for Scotland;
* The Garter Star, with motto “Honi soit qui mal y pense”;
* The motto “Quis separabit”;
* Banners depicting the Royal Arms (post-1837) and the Union Flag,
each panel also bears a coat of arms, as follows:
* Burton of Pollacton, co. Carlow, Bart; motto “Dominus providebit”;
* Denys of Easton Neston, co. Northampton, Bart; motto “Ora e sempre”;
* Slade, Bart, motto “Fidus et audax.”
The arms indicate that the Screen is almost certainly that of Sir Francis Charles Edward Denys-Burton, Third Baronet (1849-1922) of Pollarton, High Sheriff of Co. Carlow, 1906. He was the son of Sir George William Denys, 2nd Bart, and in 1906 assumed additional surname of Burton in right of his wife, Grace Ellen, daughter of Lt-Col. Adolphus William Desart Burton and Sophia Louise Slade.
Approx. 169cms high x 127cms wide opened (66 ½”  x 50”).
