A 19th Century Irish silver and gold Chalice, the removable 18ct gold Cup (approx. 7.5 ounces) hallmarked 'G. & R.' (Gunning & Reynolds) Dublin, set in an ornate silver base in the manner of Augustus Pugin, c. 1908, with amethyst and ruby stone inset, decorated with etched saints, 'Saint Patrick, Saint Brigid & others,' the underneath inscribed 'presented to Mothers Mary Bernard Hackett on the occasion of her Jubilee, 24, November 1903' hallmarked  G. & R, (Gunning & Reynolds) approx. 26cms high, 30.6 ounces.
