A 19th Century oval carved Cameo Profile Portrait, according to a note attached, it is a Portrait of Thomas Henry Burke, who was murdered in the Phoenix Park Dublin 1882. Margaret Burke, his great Aunt, married the
2nd Earl of Howth. Burke was murdered by "The Irish National Invincibles," finely carved in gold frame, 2 1/4" (6cms). (1)
