A pair of Chinese Famille Verte "Garlic Head" Vases, Kangxi (1662 - 1722), each with ovoid body decorated on a four petal shaped panels alternately enclosing antiques or flowers, birds and insects which include peony and chrysanthemum below a bond of cell diaper on the shoulder and a RUYI border, 18" (46cms), one with shortened neck and a double blue circular to base and each repaired and stapled, the other with damage to the "garlic" top and with cracks.
