Dickens (Charles) Two original A.L.s. from the Author Charles Dickens, to a Mrs. Winter, dated 29th March, 1855, (1 page), & 13 Nov. 1858 (2 pages) Signed with clear signatures, & an original carte de visite photograph of Dickens at his desk. The first is an offer of a ticket for a box at the Adelphi, stating he may not be there himself, 'as I shall be waylaid by household words,' The other is offering friendship, consolation and sympathy in some misfortune that befell Mrs. Winter. The entire now mounted on boards, approx. 40cms x 26.5cms (15 3/4" x 10 1/4") framed. (1)
