Irish First Day Covers: An amazing Private Collection of approx. 160 F.D.C., most postally used, & contained in two albums, covering most Anniversaries of Important Irish people in the history of Ireland, from Daniel O'Connell, James Stephens, J. O'Donovan Rossa, Michael Davitt, Roger Casement, James Larkin, James Connolly, Kevin Barry, P.H. Pearce, Countess Markievicz, Michael Collins, T. MacSwiney & T. Mc Curtin, E. de Valera etc. to mention but a few, also anniversary of important events, 1798 etc. to include:
* Reg. F.D.C. 1941, with Easter Rising overprint issue, with additional Sinn Fein propaganda label, tied by individual strikes. V. Rare;
* 1944, O'Cleary, 4 block 1/2d Set and 1 shilling stamp;
* Two for 1946, with orig. watercolour portrait of C.S. Parnell;
* Various Republican sets for 1949 with 'An Post Poblacht na h'Eireann' stamp. 
* 1958, Commemorative covers, with hand-coloured designs, 'Kilmainham Jail,' by Mrs. J. Plunket, & hd. coloured flags.
* 1969 - '50th Anniversary Dail Eireann,' signed by Eamon de Valera. 
* 1916-1966 Commemorative Album of stamps of Republican Leaders.
