Bank of Ireland Problems?

Bank of Ireland:
ALs., 3pp. 11 Jan. 1828, from M. Leland Maquay, Governor, Bank of Ireland, to Rt. Hon. J.c. Harries, Treasury Chambers, concerning arrangements for transmitting moneys lodged at local bank offices around the county to Treasury accounts in Dublin; with four manuscript copy letters from Thos. Williams, Secretary to the Bank, to officers at the General Post Office, Comptroller General of Stamps, Commissioner of Excise and Commissioners of Customs, all on the same date and same subject. Apparently the Treasury had objected to delays of eight to twelve days in transmitting moneys lodged, and the Bank says this delay will not in fact apply, although it cannot comply in full with the plan as proposed by the Treasury, etc. As a coll. of m/ss., w.a.f.
