An exceptionally fine quality early 19th Century William IV period Irish rosewood Settee, the long straight rail back with two carved supports over upholstered back seat and sides (possibly original material), with carved arm fronts moulded frieze, carved rosettes, and on two front carved and turned legs, with heavy brass castors, by Williams & Gibton, No. 18348, stamped on back legs. Originally one of a pair. (1)
