Mc Connell (J.) Dublin, illustrator. Address to Assheton Biddulph M.F.H. from His Friends in The Kings County Hunt & Adjoining Counties, Lg. oblong folio D. 1897. Consisting of 6 large illuminated card leaves, the first with portraits of Assheton and his wife, the second a finely painted watercolour scene with The Master and his wife and another with hounds in a landscape and four further leaves with 2 attractive miniature watercolours, hunting scenes, with fine borders and other decoration and including remainder of the address and list of subscribers, each page approx. 25cms x 34cms (9 3/4″ x 13 1/2″), and individually singed. In a heavy full crimson mor. block binding with gilt borders and decoration, and with etched brass armorial motif mounted on front cover. In excellent condition.

Tipperary, contained in five large albums and 3 carte-de-visite albums, together with 3 small folders of loose photographs and negatives. The colleciton includes attractive family and group shots, (1865-1920), garden and hunting parties at Grenane and other family homes. It includes views of Doneraile, Co.
