A very attractive and unusual early 19th Century German silver plated Tea Service, in its original brass bound mahogany case, consisting of teapot with wooden handles, a sugar bowl with attached stand, & cream jug, all decorated with embossed flowers, and a set of 12 teaspoons (one dam), a matching tea strainer, and a sugar tongs, all with shell decoration, the teapot, spoons etc all stamped Muller + 12. Also loosely inserted there are two manuscript letters in German, one dated Zurich 1899 and the other dated 1948, concerning the above service, overall weight 39 oz (including handles). (1)
